Excellent guide to take on a trip to Rome. Handy maps, guide is really user friendly. I wish there was one for our trip to Moscow and St Petersburg.
This book is an excellent guide for every tourist in Rome. It has fantastic recommendations and pieces of advice. The size is perfect to carry in the bag/hand and the directions are excellent.
Really happy to get this book. Terrific size for popping in your handbag. Love the way each city is divided into area's - makes it easy to find a nearby restaurant or place of interest. Maps are simple to follow and, although small, easy to read and compliment the book perfectly. Really happy with this series!!

It is a nicely organized book that has excellent maps and descriptions of sites and local restaurants. It really divides the various parts of the city well and brings up lesser known sites while elaborating on the majors. It fits in your pocket and helps with planning your assault on the Eternal City.
I got the edition. Its just great. The only issue is that when reading about places to visit/eat/etc, it would be good to be able to look at a pull-out map at the same time. I've seen these Little Black Books in stores, and that ability, to concurrently read about a place and reference it on a pull-out map, is a powerful advantage and is a basic reason to buy the book, vs. reading it on a . Otherwise, this is an excellent reference.
